Results of Phase 2 Alemtuzumab Trial Released

Preliminary results suggest that alemtuzumab may not only stop the progression of MS but also restore lost function. A Phase 3 trial of the drug will be undertaken to confirm these findings. Should this testing also prove successful, it will be several years before the drug will become available for use.
