Privacy Policy Statement
MSNZ collects information from visitors to our website (who fill out our contact form or donate via our website) in order to effectively engage with you. MSNZ will ensure that this information remains confidential and we will not pass your information to a third party, unless required to by law, or as required to process your donation.
What we collect
The information we collect may include your contact data: name, address, email, telephone number, your demographic information: postcode, and your company data: business name. We may collect details relating to your engagement with us and donations you have made to us. You do not have to provide us with any information, but we may not be able to engage with you if you don’t.
How we will use the information
We collect this information on our user database in order that we can communicate effectively with you, respond to your enquiries, send you a receipt for your donation and to provide you with information. We use this information to administer your account.
We may also use it to send marketing/fundraising letters or emails to you, but we will only do so if you have consented to receive them. If you do not wish to receive marketing/fundraising material from us, you can opt-out at any time by contacting us here.
Partner organisations
We use the fundraising platform FunRaisin and the credit card processor Stripe when you make a donation via our website.
If you make a credit card donation in response to direct mail, we will process that donation through our credit card processor, Paystream.
Disclosure
MSNZ will never sell or rent personal data to marketers or unaffiliated third parties.
We may share your information with a limited number of service providers who need it to perform their services. How long do we keep your personal information?
We retain a user database and will keep your personal information, securely, for as long as we have a legitimate reason to use the information, in order to use or process the information for the purpose it was received and as required to do so by law.
Access and Correction
We take the accuracy of your personal information very seriously.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you at any time, by emailing us here.
You can request a correction to information held by emailing us here.
You can ask to be removed from our database by emailing us here, but please note that we are required to keep financial information including details of donations made for a period of 7 years. For the avoidance of doubt, we DO NOT retain your credit card number.

Changes
MSNZ may revise this Policy from time to time. Any such revisions will be effective when this Policy is published.
