Volunteers are the heart of MSNZ and our regional societies. Without the dedication and support of volunteers, we simply could not deliver the range of services and support that make a real difference in the lives of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their whānau.

Types of Volunteer Roles
- Event Support
- Help organise or run fundraising events, community gatherings, and awareness campaigns.
- Street Appeals
- Collect donations and raise awareness during our annual street appeals.
- Office and Administration
- Assist with day-to-day tasks in your local MS society office.
- Community Outreach
- Visit or support people with MS in your community, helping to reduce isolation and build connections.
- Social Media and Communications
- Help share stories, promote events, and raise awareness online.
Who Can Volunteer?

- No prior experience is necessary just a willingness to help and a passion for supporting people with MS.
Individuals, groups, and businesses can all get involved.
Volunteering is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Some roles may have age or skill requirements, but there is something for everyone.
