Welcome to our December 2025 Edition of MS Voice, your go-to place for the latest news, updates, and real life stories from Multiple Sclerosis New Zealand.
In this edition, we share that we have once again been chosen as the masthead charity for the Bangers to Bluff Car Rally, provide you with the ECTRIMS Patient Community Day Impact Report, share the impact the new 10 minute treatment time has on Sophie’s life, and give some top tips on how to stay cool this summer. We share details of an upcoming luncheon with NZ MS Research Trust and ask for your input for the carers strategy action plan and the proposed changes to Total Mobility. Also in this edition we share Nick’s mis-diagnosis story, and we celebrate his accomplishments as Mastering Mountains enters it’s 10th year. As always, we have our fabulous competition courtesy of Allied Medical.
We end this month’s newsletter with a heartfelt thanks to everyone that has donated to MSNZ this year. These donations play a crucial role in ensuring we can continue delivering essential services, advocacy, and resources to people living with multiple sclerosis across New Zealand. We appreciate your continued support.
