In this edition of MS Voice we excitedly tell you about the location and further details for the 2026 Ride for MS event. We update you on the Disability Support Services Bill, and how you can take action. We also inform you that MSNZ will make an oral submission to the Social Services and Community Committee on Tuesday 30th June at 5.35pm and how you can support us.
We share the story of Sam, a person with MS that was diagnosed at 27 years old, just weeks after welcoming her newborn. Her story is one of resilience, perspective and focusing on what truly matters.
We invite you to participate in our Awareness Week campaign this September, and encourage you to get in touch now so we can assist you in crafting your story, photo and statement for the photo wall or create short videos discussing your MS symptoms, diagnosis journey or simply sharing what you wish you’d known back then.
As our ongoing feature topic ‘Your Healthcare Team’ continues, we introduce you to Sophie Wilson, a Massage Therapist who is also living with MS. Sophie shares her insightful perspective with us and details of a generous offer for 2 lucky people.
