Outward Bound is a non-profit organisation committed to helping people unlock their full potential through outdoor adventure and challenge. They believe in experiential learning (learning through doing) – where students take ownership of their journey, whether leading an expedition or navigating a team through a sailing challenge.

Their courses are designed to build essential life skills and attitudes that go far beyond the outdoors. The lessons learned here are relevant in every part of life – at work, school, at home – and they stick with you for life. We’re more than an adventure. We’re about empowering people to grow, face challenges, and create lasting change within themselves and their communities.

Outward Bound offer a number of short courses for people aged 13+ with impairments and disabilities. Funding is often available through Outward Bound for these courses. We will promote opportunities when available or you can contact Outward Bound directly.
