Call for Stem Cell treatment for MS

Anne Beasley - HSCT

Anne Beasley had to travel to India for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) at the end of 2019 and at a cost of $42,000

Although it is already available in New Zealand for people with blood and bone marrow cancer, it is not available for those with MS.

Anne, and her Mother, Joan Perry, have started a petition to the Government. MSNZ’s President, Neil Woodhams fully supports the petition saying “The Society has been pushing for HSCT to be available for MS Patients in New Zealand since 2017”
